We’re in the pizza business, but at MOD our real purpose is creating a positive social impact in the lives of our employees and their communities. Founded in 2008 by Scott and Ally Svenson in their hometown of Seattle, MOD was built on a simple premise: What if everyone could get exactly the pizza they wanted, made fresh on demand, for as little as possible? And what if our employees were taken care of and given real opportunities for growth, even second chances? The result? A restaurant with an amazing spirit of individuality, teamwork and service has emerged. Our journey has been a rewarding, enjoyable ride. So here we are, expanding in Canada with our people-first mission. You’ll see that in every MOD, our people express gratitude with attitude — we call it Spreading MODness. It’s our culture of doing good and creating food to feel good about. And it’s catching on.
