Dyslexia Tutoring Online

At Dyslexia Tutoring Online, I provide structured literacy tutoring for pre-readers through high schoolers who learn differently - including students with dyslexia and other reading challenges. My instruction is grounded in the Orton-Gillingham approach: a multi-sensory, sequential, and evidence-based method that builds reading, spelling, and writing skills from the ground up, rather than around them. I work with students online and in-person, meeting families where they are and adapting my teaching to each child's pace and learning profile. Every program follows a structured, cumulative sequence - currently built around a comprehensive 108-lesson framework - using tactile and multi-sensory tools to make abstract phonics concepts concrete and memorable.

I'm proud to be an approved funding provider for several BC and national programs, including the TLC Fund for Kids, Variety – The Children's Charity of BC, Haisla Nation, Fawkes Academy, Jordan's Principle, and the CKNW Kids' Fund, helping make tutoring accessible to more families. I also collaborate closely with allied professionals, including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and psycho-educational assessors, to support students through a coordinated, whole-child approach.
