Adam began his electrical career in 2014. While undergoing the apprenticeship program at BCIT, Adam worked for a rapidly growing company in North Vancouver called KYBE Electrical Contracting. He soon became very familiar with all aspects of the electrical trade which included residential, industrial and commercial. As time passed, Adam gravitated to the residential side of the trade, where he put some of his creative skills to work as he helped design the electrical layout for many homes. His experience grew exponentially, as his range of work went from small renovations to project manager of multi million dollar homes. In 2018, Adam became a Red Seal Journeyman and began mentoring young apprentices whom have now become journey people themselves. In 2019, Adam moved back to his hometown of Victoria along with his wife and two children. It was then that Adam created A.R.T. Electric and began working with several different building contractors in the city. You may often see Adam working along side his father Rick Thomas; a retired employee from the dairy industry and currently a second year electrical apprentice. In 2020, Adam earned his Master FSR-B credential which allows ART Electric to pull electrical city permits. When Adam is not on the tools as an electrician, he is busy juggling his other two careers: actor for screen, stage and voice as well as an acting instructor at the Victory Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 2024, Adam combined his love for the entertainment business with his electrical company by investing in local live theatre and student film productions.
