Lea May Photography

At Lea May Photography, I believe the most beautiful photographs aren't always the perfectly posed ones. They're the genuine smiles, the quiet in-between moments, the laughter, the love, and all those little details that make your story uniquely yours. Based in Greater Victoria and serving Vancouver Island and beyond, I specialize in maternity, newborn, family, couples, intimate weddings, elopements, and personal branding photography. My approach is relaxed, natural, and connection-focused. Rather than stiff poses and forced smiles, I encourage authentic interactions that allow your personalities and relationships to shine through. Whether we're chasing golden hour in a beautiful outdoor setting, documenting those fleeting newborn days in the comfort of your home, or celebrating one of life's biggest milestones, my goal is to create an experience that feels comfortable, meaningful, and genuinely fun. As a mother myself, I understand just how quickly life's seasons pass. I'm passionate about preserving the moments, big and small, that deserve to be remembered long after they've passed. My philosophy is simple: connection, not perfection. Because years from now, I want you to look at your photographs and remember not just how life looked, but how it felt.
