For over 30 years the Grizzlies have a proud history of providing great family entertainment to a generation of residents the WestShore; but has a great reputation of developing elite talent, and helping young athletes realize their dreams. Countless Victoria Grizzlies have gone to NCAA Division 1 schools; as well as notable NHL draft picks, that include current NHL’ers like Jamie & Jordie Benn, Tyler Bozak, Tyson Barrie, 2019 1st round NHL Pick Alex Newhook and 2023 Nashville 1st Round Pick Matthew Wood. Under local ownership, the Grizzlies give back to a number of local charity groups and in 2025 established their Hometown Heroes Program where deserving group received $5,000 each home game during the regular season.
