Habitat for Humanity Victoria is a registered charity dedicated to bringing communities together to help families build strength, stability, and independence through affordable homeownership. Founded in 1990, the organization mobilizes volunteers, donors, and community partners to construct safe, decent, and affordable homes for hard‑working local families. Through its Homeownership Program, families participate by contributing volunteer hours and purchase their homes at fair market value with affordable financing. Revenue from Habitat Victoria’s ReStores, nonprofit home improvement stores that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, and building materials, helps fund operations and the construction of more homes in the Capital Region. To date, Habitat Victoria has built dozens of homes and continues to expand its impact by providing diverse housing solutions, strengthening communities, and supporting long‑term housing affordability.
