WiC Victoria is excited to launch our new annual flagship event series: Educate-May!

Join us for a workshop with The Thoughtful Co, a female-founded consultancy centered on advancing equity for women in the workplace. They provide workshops on high-impact topics focusing on enabling recognition, opportunity and influence for women.

This year’s session topic is: “Negotiate for the Compensation You Deserve”.

Key takeaways will include:

What pieces of compensation & benefits are appropriate to push on (beyond salary).
How compensation decisions are made within employers.
What you should and shouldn’t use as rationale for a pay increase.
The biases women face in negotiations and how to work around them.
When you should be bringing up compensation and how to frame the ask.

Doors open at 4:45 pm, with the workshop commencing at 6:00 pm. It will run roughly 1 hour, with socializing to follow.
