This program teaches business owners how to effectively pitch their business.
The program has four lessons and one period of office hours:
Lesson 1: What Makes an Effective Pitch (and Why It Matters) Learning outcomes: understand what makes a good story (or pitch) so you can apply it to your business.
Lesson 2 : Perfecting Your Elevator Pitch Learning outcomes: be able to create the essential story (“elevator pitch”) of your company.
Lesson 3: How to Build a Pitch Deck Learning outcomes: create a basic pitch deck for sales, fundraising or internal communications.
Office Hours Drop-in session for students to ask questions and prepare for the live pitch session.
Lesson 4: Live Pitches Learning outcomes: experience pitching in front of real investors and getting their feedback.
This is a practical program that will feature case studies, group discussion and hands-on exercises. All lessons are live but students will have access to downloadable materials and templates for further study.
