On March 21st, WIN welcomes you to our Clothing Donation Drive! WIN has a great need for gently used or new clothing for all genders and all ages. As a self-sustaining organization, WIN Co-op relies entirely on the generous support of its donors. After a long cold and wet winter, we are finding that our clothing reserves are very low. We ask that as people switch their closets over for Spring, or are inspired to do Spring cleaning, that they think of donating to WIN. We are hosting a clothing drive to inspire community members to donate their gently used or new unused clothing to help us succeed in offering our five empowerment programs for women. Through our WIN Gift Certificate Program, women are able to freely choose the clothing that they need for themselves and their families. The event, which will be held March 21st will include popcorn, treats, and fun as a way to thank our amazing donors. WIN impacted the lives of over 1200 women last year. Two program participants commented on WIN’s impact on their lives: "You offer a kind, supportive environment. As women starting over again, it is so daunting! The kindness, the support, and the financial help all work together to help out in so many ways. Incredibly huge impact in my life. The Self Sufficiency Program provides bursaries to women to pursue an opportunity that will have a significant impact on their ability to move forward along their journey towards self sufficiency such as further training or education, to help develop a small business, or to solve logistical barriers.? The Transformations Program provides women with the opportunity to pursue personal development education.?
