Investing in the health of Island kids. For more than 90 years, Children's Health Foundation of Vancouver Island has collaborated with communities, partner organizations, and donors to have the greatest outcomes for kids, youth, and their families. Our vision is that all Island kids have access to the health care they need. By raising money and managing funds, we can transform access to essential services and provide every Island family with the support they need. Our funding supports essential services available to 160,000 kids living on our islands. More importantly, it improves the physical and emotional well-being of our kids. By investing in these services, we are investing in our kids and their futures. Our funding supports essential services across Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. We listen to institutions, families, community leaders, and health professionals to determine the areas of greatest need across our Islands. We are dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth and families in the following impact areas: CHILD AND YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH; EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT; and RURAL AND REMOTE ACCESS TO CARE. It takes a village - and without the support of generous and forward-thinking donors across our Islands, our work wouldn't be possible. The people who give their time, money, and heart provide our kids with the support they need.
