For 50+ years the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria (ICA) has worked with immigrant communities in the Capital Regional District (CRD). ICA serves 2,500+ clients annually, 2/3 of whom are from racialized communities. ICA is a social impact organization with a focus on ensuring that immigrants to the region have fair and equitable access to services while fostering a sense of well-being and belonging. Our services include language instruction for newcomers, employment services, specialized services for children and families, and LGBTQIA services, workshops, and training opportunities including health navigation workshops as well as anti-racism training for the community, and community engagement partnerships such as the Greater Victoria Local Immigration Partnership (GVLIP).
